Conferences

The Dining Room can be converted to a small Conference Room for up to 25 people. We can supply Morning and Afternoon Teas and Lunch. Anything can be set up and made up to your requirements.

Valet and Laundry

Dry-cleaning can be handed in to reception before 9.00am and will be returned to your room by the end of the day at a fee. Plastic Dry-cleaning bags and forms are in your room. Laundry facilties are on site and are coin operated. Laundry powder and change can be obtained from reception. A full size ironing board and iron are in you room. Laundry is available between 6.30am until 9.00pm.

Licensed Restaurant and Bar

Enjoy the convenience of our licensed restaurant featuring delicious cuisine inspired from Australian culture.

Silks Restaurant is on site and a full menu is in your room. You can have a meal in the Restaurant or have your meal in the privacy of your room. Breakfast is between 6.30am and 9.00am and again can be served in the Restaurant or in your room.

If you are departing early we can arrange to have a night tray to be brought to your room the night before departure. In room dining with a full menu commences at 6pm until about 8pm.

Secured Allocated Parking

We have a fully-secured, well-lit car park with camera survelliance and allocated parking for each room. Some carparks are available under cover.

Swimming Pool

The motel has a saltwater in-ground pool which is available between 6.30am and 10.00pm. The pool is not heated, but then again this is the Tropical North.

Disability Room

The motel has a disability room on the ground floor with all the necessary rails and bars, wheel in shower, high toilet and low television access.

Tour Desk

We can give you expert local advice and book tours for Cairns and the surrounding regions.

Our Tour Desk is available at Front Desk and we are only too happy to help you with your enquiries. Cairns has a lot to offer and all Tour Operators pick up and drop off at Cannon Park Motel.

Reception

You will be received with a warm welcome at the reception. Reception is open from 6.30am to 10.00pm. A key night safe is available for those very late arrivals. Small office services can be provided at a minimum charge, like photocopying and faxing. We also have a safe for your important papers, money and valuables.

Daily Room Service

All rooms are serviced on a daily basis ensuring that you always have fresh towels, linen and supplies. This service is included at no extra cost.

Telephone Services

All rooms have telephone for direct dialing IDD and STD. There are connections for Dial-up internet as well as wireless broadband - available at a fee. Dial up internet is charged as a local telephone call.
